The Garden Bed Maintenance & Pruning Technician’s responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining client’s garden beds with utmost care. Entails hand weeding, pruning and general gardening using pole saws, tillers chain saws, backpack blowers, hand pruners, etc. to complete all scheduled work safely. Making a final inspection at each job site to be sure that all work has been completed according to quality standards. Checking truck and equipment fluid levels each day. Loading and securing all equipment, tools, fuel etc. necessary for the day’s work on truck and trailer each day. Making sure equipment is in good working condition and notifying Mechanic or direct report if equipment needs repair. Performing required routine maintenance on equipment. Dropping off and picking up equipment for repairs as necessary. Cleaning all garbage and garden bed, etc. out of truck and trailer each night. Practice all safety standards. Handling customer requests, complaints, etc. while on job site in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.

- Chauffeur License
Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is helpful. Knowledge of pole saws, chainsaws, mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc. operation is helpful. Ability to work with customers, employees, supervisors, in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
