Landscape Maintenance Team Leader

The Landscape Maintenance Team Leader is an experienced team member responsible for overseeing and working with a landscape maintenance crew of one to two team members. The crew performs landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn mowing, spring/fall clean ups, weeding, annual flower planting, mulching and other related services. Candidate has a working knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape equipment safety, use and care. Candidate has the desire to direct team members, manage time and complete tasks within budget while maintaining Naylor Landscape Management’s quality standards. Candidate is customer service oriented and has the ability to work with team members, vendors and clients in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. Candidate must have a chauffer license. This is a seasonal position and estimated at 40+ hours per week.

Landscape Maintenance Technician

The Landscape Maintenance Technician is responsible for working on a crew of one to two team members. The crew performs landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn mowing, spring/fall clean ups, weeding, annual flower planting, mulching and other related services. Candidate should have desire to complete tasks on time and within budget and at the same time meet Naylor Landscape Management’s quality standards. Candidate must have ability to work with team members, vendors and clients in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. Candidate must have a chauffer license. This is a seasonal position and estimated at 40+ hours per week.

Landscape Foreman

The Landscape Foreman is an experienced landscaper working with minimal supervision. Candidate is responsible for overseeing and working with a landscape crew of one to two team members. Daily activities include installation of:

  • retaining walls
  • paver walks and patios
  • outdoor kitchens
  • water features
  • planting beds
  • trees and shrubs
  • seeded and sodded lawns
  • other related landscape projects.

He or she should have three to five years of landscape construction experience, a working knowledge of horticultural practices and heavy landscape equipment safety, use and care. Candidate must have a desire to complete projects on time and within budget while meeting Naylor Landscape Management’s quality standards.

The Landscape Foreman will work closely with landscape team members, Landscape Construction Manager, Field Supervisor and customers. So, he or she must have ability to lead and work with team members, vendors and clients in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. Candidate must have a chauffer’s license, the ability to obtain a CDL Class A license within 60 days of hire and pass a drug test.

Landscape Installation Technician

The Landscape Installation Technician is responsible for working on a crew of one to two team members. The crew installs landscape projects such as planting trees and shrubs; installing retaining walls, paver patios and walks; seeding and sodding lawns; installing water features and other related landscape installation services. Candidate must have a desire to complete projects on time and within budget while meeting Naylor Landscape Management’s quality standards and ability to work with team members, vendors and clients in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. Candidate must have a chauffer license and ability to obtain a CDL Class A license. This is a seasonal position and estimated at 40+ hours per week.

Lawn Care Technician

The Lawn Care Technician is responsible for applying fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides. The candidate must have the ability to study for and pass the state of Michigan pesticide applicator license exam and follow all state and federal guidelines regarding proper application. Candidate must have a desire to complete jobs on time and within budget while meeting Naylor Landscape Management’s quality standards and ability to work with team members, vendors and clients in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. Candidate must have a chauffer license. This is a seasonal position and estimated at 40+ hours per week. 

Irrigation Service Technician

The Irrigation Service Technician takes pride in performing superior installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems. Candidates should have at least two years of irrigation-related experience. He or she must have a desire to complete tasks on time and within budget while meeting Naylor Landscape Management’s quality standards. They will be expected to work with team members, vendors and clients in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. Candidate must have a chauffer license. 

Holiday Light Installer

The Holiday Light Installer is responsible for installing, maintaining, taking down and packing holiday lights and decorations. Candidates do not need experience, but should be comfortable using and operating equipment, ladders, lifts correctly and safely after proper training. Candidate must not have a fear of heights. Work hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday and some Saturdays.

Snow Shoveler (Part-Time)

A Snow Shoveler is responsible for working outdoors for 6 to 8 hours per day during a snow event (primarily 3rd shift). Candidate must be 18 years or older and be comfortable using shovels, push cart salters and snowblowers to clear snow from walks. Reliable transportation is required; a chauffeur license is a plus.
